Is it really Fall without caramel apples? I think NOT!
I made candy apple slices last night (turtle style) and let me tell you... my life has changed forever. These are so tasty that they'll leave you wanting more once you've devoured the first batch.
What You'll Need:
-Baker's Dipping Chocolate (Milk Chocolate)
-Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip
-White Chocolate Chips
- Chopped Pecans
-Lollipop Sticks (or strong popsicle sticks)
The instructions are super easy.
Simply cut the apples in slices or leave them whole and insert a popsicle stick in each one.
Melt your dipping chocolate, caramel, and white chocolate.
Next, dip your apple slices in chocolate and set them to the side. (on parchment paper)
Then, drizzle caramel and white chocolate on top of the chocolate-coated apples. (You can do this using a ziplock bag like I did or a fork)
Finally, add your crushed pecans and that's it!!
They are so delicious and worth a try. What are your favorite autumn treats?

Ah Snap! I'm back!!!
I'm sorry for the long hiatus you guys but I am back in action. It's time to get this blog lit again!! I'll be coming out with more content this week so be on the lookout.
Here are two last minute halloween ideas for you procrastinators out there. These costumes are super basic, however, they are very easy to recreate. Not to mention, you'll be saving a lot of money because a lot of the materials you'll probably already have at home.
*Side note: I'm sorry some of the pictures are blurry. I took all of these myself with a DSLR. The struggle was a little bit real lol
Rocker/Biker Chick and Scarecrow
What you'll need:
Straw hat (any kind)
Black liquid eyeliner
To create this look, start off by using your eyeliner to draw a triangle on your nose (any size will do). Then color the inside using your blush (or eyeshadow). Next, draw small lines all around the triangle. This gives the illusion that the nose is stitched onto the face. After your nose is complete, draw extended smile lines on your face then slash through them with smaller vertical lines. Apply your black lipstick. Draw a couple of short vertical lines on your eyebrows as well. Next, apply some heavy black eyeliner around your eyes, making the lower lashes look longer than usual. Throw on a heavy amount of blush to top off the makeup look. Finally, throw on a straw hat and a plaid shirt and you're done. Can you believe I don't own a plaid shirt? I had to put on my (9 yo) nephew's shirt.
Jacob wanted to be a scarecrow too so here's his look.
(Y'all can be the judge of this one. Do I look like a rocker chick or a biker chick?)
What you'll need:
Black Bandana or a thin pair of black leggings
Black liquid eyeliner
Black leather jacket
Trendy 90s choker (optional)
Basically, all black everything!
There are only two steps for this biker makeup look. 1. Throw on a heavy amount of eyeliner. 2. Apply black lipstick. That's it! Once the makeup is complete, throw on some black clothes, a leather jacket, and the choker. Wrap a black bandana around your head or do what I did and wrap a thin pair of leggings around your head.
That's the completed look! This could literally take you five minutes if you need something last minute. A few other things that would make this look cool would be some rings (i.e. skull rings) or something with spikes.

This post is for all of my fellow PLL viewers. I just finished watching the finale and...
First off, I would like to say that I'm sad it's over but also very happy. This show has been on for 7 years and I've been keeping up with it... the whole time!! I started watching this show when I was 19, which is crazy because I'm 26 now!!! Let me fill you in on my thoughts and if you watched it tonight, I want you to leave yours as well.
The finale was good at certain points but overall was very underwhelming. I feel like it really didn't answer any questions for me. Like, how did those moms really get out of the basement? If Spencer's twin (Alex) is A.D, why was she torturing everyone who wasn't even related to her? I could see her only torturing her family, but what did everyone else have to do with her problems? Who killed Maya? Was it Alex? If so, why? Where was Aria's brother? Why did she kidnap Ezra at the end? What was the point of making Alison carry Emily and Wren's babies? After years of crimes, everyone just got away with everything? Mona had Mary Drake locked up with Alex at the end? Why? Was Mary Drake really evil, good, or just twisted. I'm just overall confused. For an episode we have been waiting for, it could have been way better. I feel like they kind of wasted the first hour with unnecessary scenes and then tried to cram everything in the last hour, especially the last 30 minutes. Was I surprised Spencer had a twin? Yes and no. People were already calling it, that Spencer would have a twin but I didn't know if she would actually have one or not. So when the twin came on the scene, the shock factor was at a low but still sort of there. So on a scale from 1-10, I was probably on a 5 shock factor. Melissa being home in the beginning was weird and her character was always sketchy to me, but I knew her being A.D would be too obvious. I wish they would have gone into detail about how she was able to do all of those things. And maybe they did, but her "accent" was throwing me all off. If any of you can explain some of these things to me, then please do so in the comments.
How funny was that scene at Aria's wedding when the phone was going off and it was the creator's.
Oh, and how many of y'all rolled your eyes at the very last scene with the little girls.
I have always been a HUGE fan of this show and it has been one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. However, I must say, I am happy that it's over.
