Normally the morning after our Christmas parties, we host a breakfast for all of our family members who came into town. This year my aunt Gerri did the cooking and we were so thankful. There was a total of 58 people at the house!
There were 2 breakfast platters full of danishes, eggs, a 3 tier fruit tray with strawberries, grapes, and mangos, a variety of sausages, rolls, and french toasts.

On Saturday we hosted our 3rd annual Christmas party and we had a total of 112 people. There was a nacho station, a dessert table, a bar, and a buffet table. The dessert table consisted of cupcakes, Italian creme cake, carrot cake, coconut cake, red velvet cake, a variety of cookies, mini brownies, a sample pie that was made up of blueberry, cherry and peach pie, an apple pie, and a sweet potato pie. The nacho station had cheese, salsa, and spinach dip. The buffet table consisted of glory string beans with potatoes, baked and fried chicken, beef meatballs, sweet and sour meatballs, 2 Barbecue turkeys, corn, rice, turkey pastrami rolls, ham rolls, fruit trays, chicken salad, tossed salad, rolls, mini sausages, and seafood salad.
Thank you so much to everyone who pitched in and helped us with this party. We couldn't have done it without you all.
(I tried to make one big video but my video editor program wouldn't let me! Sorry.)
Yesterday we celebrated my cousin Johnny's 80th birthday. It was a joyous occasion with family and friends and everyone had an amazing time. Patricia and Darryl did a fantastic job hosting. I hope you had a great birthday and many more!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and ate a ton of food. Thanksgiving this year was really fun for me. I got to see most of my family, eat a lot of food, and prank my grandma! So while my mom and I were in Dollar General we came across a whoopee cushion. I thought it would be funny for someone to sit on it while everyone was together. My mom decided to sit on it and the reactions were hilarious! Even Jacob passed a little gas at the end!
I'm back with a new post! Somehow I lost my second memory card a couple of weeks ago so I couldn't transfer any of these photos to my blog. Anyway, I finally found it and even though it's super late, I still wanted to share my aunt Debra's '50 and fabulous' birthday celebration. Enjoy!
My Aunt Michelle is officially 50 y'all! And 50 has never looked better! Ow ow! Her party theme was 70s and it was farrrr out! Can you dig it? Check out the pictures and video below!! (Click the symbol [ ] to make the video larger)
Do you ever have something happen to you and then you think to yourself "NOOO! WHYYYYY?!!!" "The STUGGLE GOT ME!"
We all go through those struggle moments. Here are 5 struggle moments I think most people have experienced at least once. ♡When you look in your wallet for that $20 and realize you already spent it. ♡Walking out of the house looking like a million bucks then 2 minutes later... you're looking like 3 dollars.
♡Dropping that last piece of cake. ♡Putting on your favorite socks just to find out they have holes in them. ♡When you want cereal but there's no milk! Let's face it... the struggle is real. The struggle bus might as well pick us up now. What's one struggle you've experience before? Let me know in the comments!! Instagram-heyymiracle Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/itsmiraclewhip

Hey Everyone. What's up?! I haven't done POTW (Pictures of the Week) in a super long time. Don't worry, I'm bringing it back but for now here are all of the photos I've taken in the month of June. (Ok, maybe not all of them... but the highlights.)
So yesterday my friend Alex and I went to our first Blacklight run. It you don't know what a Blacklight run is then check out the video below. ↓↓↓↓
We got there and ate funnel cake, listened to some music, and hung out during the pre-party. Good thing we got there early to experience that because the actual race was stormed out. We probably made it half way through the race when BAM! The storm got us. There was lightning, hardcore wind and rain but worst of all...
Last Saturday I hosted game night and it was pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I invited my closest friends to join me for a night of food and games. It was a blast. I really want to make an effort to see my friends more often because we literally go months sometimes without seeing each other.
I had a table set up with snacks and drinks and also ordered pizza and wings. (Not shown)
Over the weekend, I graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Psychology. According to the school website, we set the record for the largest number of graduates (in the history of the school) which was more than 750 and reached capacity in the coliseum with more than 14,000 people.
Yesterday our family surprised my cousin Alexis at WaDuke to celebrate her 21st birthday. Let me just say WaDuke is seriously so amazing. This place had me feeling so fabulous. You know a place is nice once you start taking pictures of the bathroom!
We ordered from the brunch menu: For my starter I choose the black bean chili with sour cream and cheese. The chili was SO good... I have no words. I just need more in my life!!
are 3 interesting yet disgusting facts that I've recently learned:
Coffee mugs that stay in office settings contain at least 20% fecal matter. (I read that it's best to take your mugs home each night and wash them (or put them in the dishwasher) instead of washing them at work. DO NOT use the sponge your job provides.)
The average chocolate bar has 8 insect legs in it.
The ice in most fast food restaurants (6 out of 10) contain so much bacteria and germs that they are officially dirtier than the toilet water.
