How Much Sleep Do I Actually Need?

Sleep is a major key to optimal health and wellness. However, most of us do not get our recommended hours of sleep each day. When we get the proper amount of sleep, our bodies are able to function at its best. Maintaining good sleeping habits increases mood, creativity, energy, and decreases anxiety. We become more alert and focus. Sleep will also  boost your immune system; and a strong immune system means you are less likely to get sick.
So... how much sleep do you actually need? 

Ages 5-10 need 10-11 hours 
Ages 11-17 need 8.5-9.5 hours
Ages 18 and over need 7-9 hours
