Today I made Puppy Chow and let me tell you...! It's dangerously delicious! It is not humanly possible to eat just a few. You will eat one and then two and then next thing you know the whole bowl is gone! Puppy chow is great all year long but I wanted to make it today to kick off the fall season.

-1 package of powdered sugar
-Peanut Butter: 1/2 cup
-1 package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 box of rice Chex cereal
-Butter: 1/2 cup
-1 very large bowl
-1 mixing utensil
-Pot or microwavable bowl
In a very large bowl dump all Chex cereal out.
On the stove or in a microwavable bowl, melt the 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and full package of semi-sweet chocolate. If done in the microwave, continuously check it after 20 second intervals (to prevent burning the chocolate). If done over the stove (like I did), just continuously stir the mixture until completely melted. Do not leave this step unattended, chocolate tends to burn very quickly.
Once the chocolate mixture has completely melted, pour it over the Rice Chex cereal and carefully stir until each piece is coated in chocolate.
Once each piece of cereal is coated in chocolate, slowly pour powdered sugar over the chocolatey cereal and stir gently. Try not to break the cereal pieces. Add as much powdered sugar as you want. The goal is to completely cover the chocolatey cereal in powered sugar. I used more than half a bag but feel free to use the entire bag!

This recipe is quick, it only took about 20 minutes... MAYBE. It is a perfect snack to serve to guests at a party or to make with your kids.
